Differing Home Fragrance Sprays

It seems like every time we turn around we are being introduced to a brand new home fragrance spray is being featured on a commercial or some store display. The concept of using fragrances to use make your home smell more pleasant is hardly new. People have been using sweet smelling incenses and oils to perfume the air in homes and churches for thousands of years, a practice that was originally introduced by the Egyptians. Today we have a wide array of scented candles, home fragrance sprays, aromatic plug-ins, and potpourri, to make their home smell warm and inviting.

Types of Home Fragrance Sprays

The wide array of home fragrance sprays currently available is mindboggling. There are home fragrance sprays that will mask odors, cover odors, and home fragrance sprays that come in a variety of scents. Some home fragrance sprays are designed to cover the odor of pet hair and litter boxes. Other home fragrance sprays are specially mixed to disguise the smell of cooking. Other home fragrance sprays are specially designed to make your entire home smell like you have spent the entire day baking in the kitchen.

Men's Fragrances Have Been Around From Even Before Women's Perfumes

If you are a man and you are thinking about choosing appropriate fragrances for your needs, and then you need to simply choose one that make you stand out from the rest and which has a scent that must linger on and on. In fact, because there are many exciting perfumes available to men, these types of fragrances have of late become more popular than the more traditional colognes even though the two are basically quite similar.

Lines Becoming Blurrier

Previously, one tended to think that colognes were only used by men while perfumes were the domain of women though these notions are changing because the fashion industry of today has blurred these lines. What make one type stand out from the other are the amount of alcohol concentration in them and colognes have greater concentration though a perfume is stronger and the scent of such fragrances last longer than is the case with colognes.

Also, men’s perfumes are today being marketed as a means to help them feel nicer and be more chic. It may also surprise you to learn that perfumes for men have been known for longer than women’s perfumes, and nowhere was this more apparent than during colonial times when men’s fragrances were the norm.
